How to make a penguin from a bottle. Penguins made from plastic bottles step by step

We continue to contribute to conservation environment, using plastic bottles that have become unnecessary as materials for crafts. This time we offer you the idea of making a charming penguin with your own hands to create a beautiful winter decoration at home, in the garden or in the country.

Below are two options for implementing the idea for your consideration. You can choose either of them or both at once, depending on your desire. If you have children, they will become excellent helpers in the process of making products from plastic bottles because it's very simple work, which does not require special skills and abilities (especially option 2).

You are ready? – Then go ahead to the photo master class!

How to make a penguin from plastic bottles - option 1

Necessary materials:

  • 2 empty 2 liter water or beverage bottles;
  • Paints;
  • Paint brush;
  • Braid;
  • Pompon;
  • Hot glue gun.

Instructions with photos:

1. Wash the bottles thoroughly and remove all labels.
2. Cut both bottles in half and leave the bottoms.

3. To make the body, connect the lower parts of the bottles by inserting one inside the second, as shown in the photo. The bases of the bottles (one at the top, the other at the bottom) will act as the head and legs of the future penguin.
4. At this stage, you can add glue for fixation, but our bottles fit together quite tightly and we decided to do without it.

5. Apply a base coat to the penguin's body (we used as a base coat on the entire body white paint in aerosol form). After the base coat has dried, paint the body black, drawing a widow's toe on the penguin's forehead.

Make sure that the lines of the widow's toe are parallel to the two lower edges of the base of the bottle, which will be used as legs. Choose a color for the penguin's hat and paint the top base of the bottle as shown in the photo. Add facial features - eyes and beak.

6. Leave the penguin to dry completely.

7. Tie a piece of ribbon around the penguin's body like a scarf and glue a pom pom to the top of the hat using a hot glue gun. The baby is ready!

Instructions with photos:

1. To make the penguin's body, wrap black paper around a previously stripped plastic bottle. Cut an oval out of white paper and glue it to the front of the bottle as the belly.

2. To make a scarf, cut a long strip of paper Pink colour and glue it around the upper torso. Then cut two more long strips, make cuts at the ends to form a fringe and glue them as the ends of the scarf.

3. Cut out two wings from black paper and glue them to the back of the penguin's body.

4. To make the head, cut out a circle from black paper and a smaller circle from white paper. Cut out eyes from black paper and a beak from orange paper and glue them onto the white circle. Glue the white circle onto the black circle in the center.

5. Cut out a hat from pink paper and glue it onto the penguin’s head. Glue the penguin's head to the front of the body above the scarf line.

6. Cut out two paws from orange paper and glue them to the base of the bottle, as shown in the photo.
The work is done!

So, you have two funny penguins. Using additional materials and your own imagination, you can create a beautiful winter composition, which will please the eye and lift the spirits of the whole family on long winter evenings.

It is also important that by using bottles that have become unnecessary for crafts, you can make a feasible contribution to preserving the environment.

To make a penguin, you will need two 1.5 or 2 liter plastic bottles, cleaned of labels and traces of glue.

The best crafts are made from those bottles that have a slight narrowing in the middle - this shape gives the most realism to the penguin figurine.

The bottles are cut in half, leaving their lower parts for work. Both parts are connected to each other using glue for additional fixation.

To make the penguin figurine as stable as possible, you can attach a piece of plasticine to the bottom of one blank, add small pebbles, sand, and put a few pine cones.

The workpiece is covered with a layer of primer or, if it is not available, with a base layer of white paint. It is most convenient to use aerosol paints, because... Covering with a brush takes a little longer.

After the base layer has dried, use a marker or a thin brush to apply the contours of the main parts - the belly and cap of the penguin.

The penguin's body is covered with black paint, after it dries, they begin to draw the rest: the tummy is painted with bright white paint - acrylic, gouache or with a metallic sheen.

The hat and scarf can be painted with any bright paint, which gives the craft a festive look. To make the hat look most impressive, you can attach a small pompom to it.

Using a thin brush, draw the eyes and beak of the penguin; if desired, the finished craft can be varnished. If you have unnecessary scraps on hand, then the scarf can be made from fabric instead of drawing.

We will create bright and original penguins from plastic bottles of any size. These wonderful penguins will be both a wonderful addition to the New Year holidays and simply a wonderful toy made with your own hands and the hands of your children.

Step 1. First we need a bottle. It is better to use bottles whose bottoms expand (for example, those for Coca-Cola). A penguin toy from such a plastic bottle will turn out large and beautiful. The color of the bottle is not at all important, since it will be completely covered with opaque paint.

Step 2. Cut the bottles in half and leave the bases. From two bottle halves you will get one cute penguin.

Step 3. Now glue the two halves together. We use universal glue “moment”.

Step 4. Now we need to cover the resulting workpiece with white paint. It is most convenient to spray paint from a can, but you can also use regular paint. acrylic paints and a good old brush. After this, let our workpiece dry.

Step 5. We begin to paint the toy: first we draw the border of the “tailcoat”, then we outline the eyes and beak. We draw bright clothes.

Step 6. Now you need to prepare a pompom for the hat. To do this, take two cardboard rings, put them together and wrap them with thread.

Then we cut the threads along the outer circumference. We insert one part of the scissors into the gap formed by two cardboard circles and cut the threads in a circle without touching the layer of threads along the inner circumference. We don't remove cardboard!

Now take a thread, insert it between two pieces of cardboard and tighten it. Uncut threads along the inner circumference are intercepted and collected into one “sheaf”.

After this, remove the cardboard and straighten the threads. It turns out this funny pom-pom:

Step 7. Glue the pompom to the drawn hat, and the pinvin bottle craft is ready! You can also decorate penguins to your taste using: rhinestones, scarves, sparkles, etc.

BIRDS FROM PLASTIC BOTTLES (PEACOCK, SWAN, OWL, PENGUIN, FLAMINGO) MASTER CLASSES

Manufacturing crafts from plastic bottles has become a popular activity. For example, birds made from ordinary plastic bottles look great in the garden. You can make a heron or a stork, or perhaps a whole “bird theater”.

For one bird craft from ordinary plastic bottles, you will need one large bottle with a capacity of 5-10 liters, as well as bottoms from half-liter and one and a half liter bottles. Additional materials will include metal rods, fishing line and plastic bags.

In order for the bird from the bottles to turn out white, it is not necessary to take opaque bottles. It is enough to paint them with acrylic paint or spray paint, which is convenient for painting finished crafts.

A master class with photos will show you how to make a bird from plastic bottles. Many people dream of making a peacock from plastic bottles using a master class, as shown in the photo.

Peacock made from empty plastic bottles

Master class with visual photos:

you will need 2 five-liter bottles, bottles of brown and green colors of different capacities and shapes, plastic tubes, polystyrene foam and strong wire;

bend the wire so that the bend forms the back of a peacock - this will be the top of the bottle;

We cut a five-liter bottle at the top and back. Move the cut strip slightly and secure with wire. Thus, the torso is formed;

connect the body and legs, giving the bird the desired position;

secure the legs with wire in several places;

cut a two-liter dark bottle into 8 long feathers, and from the bottom make 6 more short feathers;

start screwing the feathers row by row;

cut off the smooth part of the milk bottles that will serve as the top of the legs. Roll them up and screw them to the body;

cover the chest, a little side and belly with feathers;

bend the mesh to the shape of the bottle. The wings and tail are made using wire cutters. You choose the length of the tail yourself;

cut out the middle part of the bottle and cut it into 5-7 centimeters. There should be 7 pieces for each wing;

screw it to the mesh, while shifting each next feather relative to the previous one;
the second row of the wing is made from 3-4 one and a half liter bottles of a dark color. They need to be cut into 6 feathers. Arrange the feathers in a semicircle;

Lay out the next rows of the wing with feathers from half-liter bottles. One bottle makes 4 feathers. It will take you approximately 30 bottles. Place all feathers closer to each other;

Make a head out of foam plastic. We use eyes for toys. Make a tuft from a bottle strip. Pour glue into the hole in the head and insert feathers;

strengthen the beak. Cut a triangle from the bottle and bend it in the center and glue it to the beak;

for the neck - 2 five-liter bottles. Roll them up into a ball and connect them together;

screw the feathers in a circle;

half-liter bottles will go on paws;

attach the last rows to the head with glue;

color the body;

from green plastic bottles feathers are made for the tail. Fold the middle part of the bottle lengthwise, give it the shape of a feather, making the top a fringe. One bottle will go for 2 small and one large feather;

Paint the blanks with green paint. Start screwing the feathers from the bottom, placing them in a semicircle. Connect all parts of the body with screws or wire.

Now you have an idea how to make any bird from plastic bottles with your own hands. The master class should help you with this. With its help you can make such a romantic bird as a swan. As a flowerpot, it will look great in the garden.

Swan made from a plastic bottle. Master Class:

you need five-liter bottles, thick wire or a metal rod, metal mesh, putty, sandpaper and sand;

cut the bottle to create a large container. It is better to cut only one side and lengthwise;

prepare the putty. Place a five-centimeter layer on the polyethylene, place the bottle on it and press down a little. Smooth the remaining putty over the top of the bottle;

insert a rod, bent in the shape of a swan’s neck, into the cap, which is screwed to the neck of the bottle;

press rollers of putty into it. Wrap each layer of the roller with a bandage. The body should flow smoothly into the neck. Make the base of the neck thick;

make a swan head with a beak at the very end;

A metal mesh should be pressed into the putty on the sides. It should harden. Apply putty to the mesh on both sides;

make a tail from a corner of the mesh;

After the swan from an ordinary plastic bottle is ready, the master class ends by transferring the bird to a dark place for 2 days until it dries. After this, the swan is treated with plaster and then sandpaper. Apply primer before painting. It is better to paint with white enamel paint. Fill the bottom with soil to plant flowers.

Owl made from ordinary plastic bottles. The manufacturing process is shown in the photo:

Another option: one two-liter soda bottle with a “waist” at the bottom of the bottle;

Use scissors to cut off the bottom of the bottle, where the bend is. A similar bottom with “waves” will be the head of an owl with ears;

cut off the second part located at the top from the lid;

connect both pieces together;

paint the resulting owl from empty plastic bottles with acrylic paints, as shown in the photo.
Penguin from a plastic bottle handmade, will be a fun craft.

You will need two Coca-Cola bottles, paint, a small piece of fabric, markers, a sharp utility knife or scissors, and all-purpose glue.

DIY penguin from a simple plastic bottle:

a Coca-Cola bottle is suitable for crafts because it has a shape with a narrowed middle and a widening at the bottom;

From two bottles of the same size we make 2 blanks. One bottle will be part of the first bottle from where the tapered part of the plastic bottle originates to the bottom. The other, shorter one is the lower part from the second bottle;

connect the two workpieces by putting the small workpiece on the larger one at the cut location;
fix the connection with glue;

paint the workpiece with durable white paint that is not afraid of water. For a quality finish, apply several layers of paint;

Use a marker to draw the outlines of the penguin's chest and face;

paint over everything outside the outlined outline with black paint. With the exception of the upper part of the craft - the cap;

paint the top part, the cap, in a bright color. Draw a pattern on it;

draw the beak and eyes with a thin brush or markers;

make a scarf from a piece of cloth and tie it around the penguin’s neck.

DIY flamingo made from plastic bottles:

at the first stage it is necessary to collect the “plumage” of birds from bottoms of the same size;

pour sand into a frying pan and heat it. By dipping the bottom into hot sand for 1-2 seconds, you will get an even cut. Similarly, align the cuts of all the bottoms;

To make flamingos from ordinary plastic bottles with your own hands, assemble the bottoms onto a fishing line, making two holes in each of them with a hot awl: one opposite the other at the very cut. Collect long garlands from the bottoms;

a large bottle will become the body of a bird;

insert a curved metal rod into the plastic cap of the bottle - this is the neck;

wrap the rod and the body bottle with plastic bags, giving the shape of a bird's body;
Finally, put a large plastic bag on the body;

take garlands from the bottoms of plastic bottles and wrap them around the workpiece. Lay the threads closer together;

eyes can be made from corks. Cut the beak out of plywood and paint it;

make legs from metal rods. The main thing is to pierce the bottom of the bottle. Paws are not made for such crafts. The rods are simply stuck into the ground. This craft can easily be moved from one part of the garden to another.

PIGS FOR GIVING IDEAS AND SOME PHOTOS OF MASTER CLASSES

I really liked this pig, unfortunately I don’t know the author, the photo is from the Internet. There are only three photos, but everything is very clear.

In this lesson we will learn how to make a funny penguin from plastic bottles. For this we need:

Tools:

  • Hot glue gun
  • Scissors

Materials:

  • 2 plastic bottles of the same volume
  • acrylic paint (black, white and any colors)
  • black cd marker
  • clear nail polish
  • primer
  • wool thread and a piece of fabric

Step-by-step instruction:

1. Wash and dry the bottles. Cut off the bottom of one of the bottles. Cut the second bottle in half. For further work we will need the bottom half of one bottle and the bottom of the other.

2. Fasten the 2 parts by inserting one part of the bottle into the other to a depth of about 2 cm. Mark the edge that we need to coat with glue. Disassemble the parts, coat the edge of the larger bottle with glue (up to the mark) and “put” the bottom of the second bottle on top again.

Try to apply a small amount of glue, a few drops will be enough, while monitoring its temperature so that the plastic does not start to melt.

4 . Take a sheet of cardboard, draw the belly of the future penguin on it and cut it out along the contour. Attach the finished template to the bottle and trace the outline with a black marker intended for CDs. Paint the entire abdomen in White color. Try to paint carefully so that the black outline remains unsmudged. Apply several layers of paint.

5. Paint the penguin's legs and body black. Wait for the paint to dry completely. If necessary, correct the contour of the abdomen with a brush. Now we will draw the penguin's cap. Choose the paint you like and paint the hat with it, then decorate it as you please. After this, draw the eyes for our penguin and beak.

6. Wait for the paint to dry completely and apply a coat of clear varnish to seal the result.

7. If you wish, you can make a pompom for the hat. To do this, wrap 2 fingers folded together with several layers of thread. The more turns you make, the fluffier the pompom will look. Remove the skein of thread from your fingers and tie it with a thread in the middle. After this, carefully cut the loops and if there are protruding threads, trim them.

Penguins are favorite fairy-tale characters of both adults and children. In many cartoons you can see these cute and cute characters. Nowadays, the cartoon “Madagascar” is in great demand, but also don’t forget our Soviet cartoon “The Adventures of Little Penguin Lolo.” These wonderful cartoons have won the love of these cute creatures.
Penguins are such touching creatures. That when we see them, we still smile when we watch cartoons about these cute birds, so similar to us in some way. Why not make us a Little Penguin for our dacha. One more smile won't hurt us!!! Let's turn the cartoon characters into reality and let them live in our garden or playground. I think that children will be happy to see these cute creatures on their playground.
We will make penguins from plastic bottles and plastic bags: this material is quite common, and also very easy to work with. Upon completion of the work, you will not only receive pleasure from the work done, but also cute and cute penguins made from plastic bottles. You can take children as your assistants; they will be happy to help you create their favorite fairy-tale characters. Olga Baturina showed us and told us how to make a penguin from a plastic bottle and plastic bags with her own hands. Olga has already shared her work with us on the website, this is a dog made from plastic bags, and if you are interested, you can watch a master class on how to make it.

To make a penguin we will need:
* Plastic bottles.
* Plastic bags.
* Scissors.
* Textile.
* Wire.
* Styrofoam.

Method for making a penguin from bags and bottles:
So, let's begin! You can make any penguin, it all depends on your imagination and capabilities. We will need an ordinary plastic bottle. You don’t have to take it like Olga’s. You can combine two drinking water bottles and you will get a Big Penguin. Let's cut off the neck of the bottle.

Make a hole in the bottom of the bottle. The size is such that you can feel it later. This hole is needed in order to secure the Little Penguin later. Olga simply puts it on a knitting needle stuck into the ground. The baby penguin turns out to be very light and can fly away. But if you are making a penguin as a decoration for the garden, then you can pour sand or small gravel into the bottle. Then it will be heavy and will not fly away if there is a strong wind.

Let's make wings. Take the wire and bend it in half. We make holes in a plastic bottle for the wings and insert wire into them.

We take any fabric and cover the resulting frame with it. Don't worry, it's very easy to do!

This is the future wing of our penguin.

This will be Little Penguin's adorable tail.

Now let's make the plumage! Prepare thick cellophane bags or film and cut it into strips like these. We make feathers for the tail and wings, and fringe for the entire body. But you can only choose one cutting option. Olga did it differently!

Let's start connecting the plumage to the limbs. For example, from the wing. Take two cellophane feathers and join them at the tip of the wing, just like you would put your palms together. Secure everything with a seam. Sew the wing down to the body.

Now we sew the tail in exactly the same way as the wing.

Now we need to determine the bird's plumage pattern. Olga does this by drawing on fabric. And go ahead!

This is how Baby Penguin's feather covering ends. If you have it in your headdress, then you can stop there, and if not, then trim it to the end.

Let's make the eyes. These are blanks for the eyes. First we draw, and then we cut it out of very thick cellophane, plastic, etc. Use your imagination! Your little penguin can have any eyes, both in color and shape. If you don't want to bother, you can buy ready-made eyes.

We connect the parts by simulating machine stitch threads of a suitable color.

These are the blanks for the paws, we make them from foam plastic. Foam fins. There were even poems. We cover the legs with fabric, with the seam facing inward. You will get socks for foam paws. The color of the fabric can even be white. You can then paint it the color you want.

The beak is made in the same way as the legs from foam. And its shape is also according to your desire. Olga's Little Penguin has a nose like this! All details are sewn with a hidden seam.

Hello! I'm ready! They also sewed a cap for me from thin cellophane. Now I'm absolutely handsome! All that's left to do is paint the paws.

That's it, the penguin made from a plastic bottle and plastic bags is ready, let's find a place for it in our garden or place it in the playground. Using this master class we make other similar penguins.

In conclusion, I would like to invite you to watch our favorite Soviet cartoon, “The Adventures of Little Penguin Lolo.” It seems to me that our bottle penguin is very similar to Lolo, don’t you think so?))). Write comments and also share your work on the site.
