The history of the “Red Food Man” begins in 1870. It was in this year, according to the Bobruisk State Archive, that a yeast factory was founded in the city, owned by the merchant Khonon Raitsin. Initially, the company employed only three people: one foreman and two workers. In 1876, the plant was already producing 500 pounds of dry yeast per year worth 4,500 rubles.

Gradually the plant grew, and in 1890 it was sold to the merchant of the 2nd guild Zusman Rabinovich. At the time of the transaction, the company had production premises, an office, a manor house, a workshop, a boiler room, a glacier, a stable, and a shed. In the 1890-1891 business year, the plant was one of three yeast factories in the Minsk province - and here they produced 4 thousand pounds of yeast for 20 thousand rubles, which exceeded a third of the total volume produced in the province. In 1898, Z. Rabinovich sold 3/5 of his property to Osher Rabinovich and Shmerka Golodets. These merchants owned the plant until 1902.

The next owner of the yeast distillery factory was the Bobruisk 1st guild merchant Yankel Rozovsky. He received the property by deed of sale in 1913. In 1912-1913, 30 men and 5 women worked at the plant. In 1917-1918, the owner of the plant, Yankel Rozovsky, faced a number of financial difficulties. In the second half of 1917 - the first half of 1918, a merchant had to send a monthly request to the Minsk Provincial Excise Department for the right to purchase yeast parcels on credit for pasting compressed yeast.

In October 1994, the Krasny Pishevik factory was transformed into an open joint-stock company. Today the enterprise is part of the state Concern “Belgospischeprom”, and its glorious history continues. The assortment list of products includes more than 140 types. All products are produced using classical technologies using natural raw materials. The total area of ​​the enterprise's production buildings is 22.7 thousand square meters. m, warehouse - 2.3 thousand sq. m. m. The area of ​​the entire territory is 6.6 hectares. .
