I knitted a skirt 20cm high. Decrease in folds

2nd row decrease all the purl stitches in this way: knit the outermost knit stitches with the purl stitches together in pairs. Knit the first loop of 10 knit stitches and one purl stitch together using a knit stitch, and knit the last knit stitch of 10 knit stitches together with the purl loop using one knit stitch. Total 200 loops.
Row 3: Knit the 1st and 10th loops together with one knit stitch. Total 180 loops.
Belt. Take pink yarn.

We knit in stockinette stitch in a circle to a height of 19 cm from the top line of the belt.
Then I divided the knitting in this way: I closed off 13 loops under each armhole, put 78 loops on the back, and 74 on the front. This difference between the back and front is due to the fact that my daughter’s back width is 23 cm, and her chest width is 18 cm. .Significant difference!

I'm describing the right sleeve. I knitted the sleeve in the round with circular knitting needles No. 3, 40 cm long, and then switched to circular knitting needles No. 2.5, also 49 cm long. I don’t like seams. I try my best to get rid of them.
Using an auxiliary thread, I cast on 72 loops and knitted a ruffle, like on a skirt
To knit the 8th row, take turquoise yarn in one thread and knit two loops together. Total 72 loops.
In total, knit 5 rows with turquoise yarn. Break the thread and continue working with pink yarn. In the 4th row of pink yarn, decrease stitches for the lower part of the sleeve armhole. Cast off 12 stitches so that the beginning of the ruffle is in the middle of the stitches. Further knitting proceeds with front and back rows. Knit two more rows of pink yarn without decreasing (6 rows of pink yarn in total). Do not break the thread, but guide it along the edge.
Tie a turquoise thread and start making decreases on the front row according to the diagram above.
Alternate stripes. Turquoise stripe - 4 rows, pink - 6 rows. There are 5 turquoise stripes, the same number of pink ones.
Close the loops in 3 stages according to the scheme. Do not forget to close the loops in the front rows with the front rows, and in the back rows with the purl ones.
Now you need to sew the sleeves into the armholes.
Crochet the neckline. Two rows of RLS, in the second row with the help of 2VP, perform a loop. The third row is the pico harness.
It remains to collect the bottom of the sleeves with an elastic band. I have a pink bobbin elastic band in two additions (it is also called a model). You can use spandex. Pull the needle into and twist the double loops from the purl loops on the wrong side. It is more convenient to retract the elastic when the eye of the needle comes first. So a needle with an elastic band easily slips between the temples without piercing them. I did a fitting to determine the length of the elastic band. Then I secured the ends.
Pull out an additional thread, sew on buttons, pull in a ribbon (mine is 4 mm wide). I bought 2 meters. This is a lot for one lacing, the rest went to the bows.
