It seemed to me that the painted shell is easier to process and breaks off more neatly). Since our Christmas tree is white, it was decided to paint the inside of the shell blue (for contrast).
3. While the paint is not dry, generously sprinkle the shell with glitter. Large decorative glitter was used on the outside, and glitter for nails was sprinkled on the inside.
4. A cotton wool strip was placed along the edge of the hole on the shell to hide the unevenness of the hole, and multi-colored sequins were glued to the top of the cotton wool.
5. From the modeling mixture, roll up a small carrot (the trunk of the future Christmas tree) and, when it dries, wrap it with “grass” yarn.
6. At first, Vika insistently sprinkled the finished Christmas tree with glitter for nails, but they didn’t stick to the yarn, so it was decided to decorate the Christmas tree with rhinestones, which we successfully picked out from my mother’s old jeans. Instead of a star, they placed a red sequin on the top of the tree. I glued all this beauty inside the shell (I did it myself so that children’s fingers wouldn’t accidentally break the fragile shell).

For Santa Claus we will need:
· Some red construction paper.

· PVA glue.

We roll up a small cone from red colored paper, the diameter of an egg. This is the future Santa Claus hat. Trim the edges to make them even. 
Glue the cap to the eggshell so as to hide the hole in the shell.
Divide one cotton pad into two parts. Inside it is lush and could easily pass for cotton wool. We form a small ball - this is the pompom on the Santa Claus hat, and cut out a small strip - this is the trim for the bottom of the hat. Glue them in place. 
From the second part of the cotton pad we will make a beard. A small hole should be cut in it for the mouth. 
Glue the beard with glue. The disc should be attached with the fluffy side up. 
We decorate the hat with confetti, interesting figures, snowflakes or plasticine. 
We make the mouth and nose of Santa Claus from red plasticine.

For the Snow Maiden we will need:
· Cotton pad.
· Yellow gouache.
· Egg shell.
· PVA glue.
· A little plasticine.
We prepare the shell in the same way as for Santa Claus. 
Cut off one quarter of the cotton pad. 
From the remaining disk we roll a cone, the diameter of which will correspond to the upper part of the eggshell. Glue the cone to the shell. This will be the Snow Maiden's hair. 
We dye our hair with yellow gouache. 
Now we are making a crown for the Snow Maiden. To do this, first draw it on paper. 
Then cut it out of colored paper along the contour. 
The crown can be decorated, for example, with glitter gel and glued to the Snow Maiden. 
Now we “draw” the hair in the front with yellow plasticine. 
We braid the Snow Maiden's braid from plasticine and attach it to the back of her hair. 
We form a bow from plasticine. 
Attach a bow to the braid. 
From plasticine we form the eyes, nose and mouth of the Snow Maiden. 
Now all that remains is to attach threads or decorative ribbons. And now, children's crafts made from eggshells are ready.
