Description of work

1. We take our slingshot, turn it with the oblong in-depth holes to face us and put the first green elastic band on the right column in three turns.

3. Now, using a plastic hook, carefully remove the first elastic band, consisting of three turns from the right column to the center of the top pair of elastic bands.

4. After this, take one red elastic band and one yellow one, connect them together and wind both of them on the hook three turns at once. This will be the first traditional Christmas flower - poinsettia, of course in nature it has a slightly different shape, but its color combination is the same.

5. Then, from the right column, we remove the top pair of green elastic bands with a crochet hook and carefully pull a skein of red and red elastic bands onto them. yellow color.

6. After this, return the green rubber bands previously removed from the right column of the slingshot to their place.

7. Take another pair of green elastic bands and throw them simultaneously on both posts of the slingshot.

9. We carry out exactly the same procedure on the left side, namely, we remove the green rubber bands from the left column with a crochet hook and throw them onto the center of the upper ones, where the rubber loop from the adjacent column is already located.

10. Now we form another skein from one red and one yellow elastic band, twisting them onto the hook two turns, after which we remove with the hook a pair of green elastic bands from the right post of the slingshot and drag the colored ones onto them.

11. We again throw a pair of green elastic bands onto the right post of the slingshot, thus obtaining a second Christmas flower woven into the wreath.

12. After this, we put the next pair of green rubber bands on both posts of the slingshot.

13. Remove the lower pairs of loops from each post using a hook over a pair of elastic bands thrown over it.

14. We weave a wreath of the length we need using the method described above; it should have approximately 10 flowers, but you can make a smaller or larger figurine - at your discretion. You can also use this principle to weave an original bracelet, it will turn out very beautiful.

15. In order to finish weaving the product, after the next throwing of both lower elastic bands into the middle of the upper pair of green ones, we do not throw anything else on.

16. Using a hook, we transfer the remaining elastic from the right column to the left.

18. We also put three rubber loops of the first turn of the wreath figurine on the hook.

19. After this, we take another green rubber band and pull it through all the loops on the hook, and we put it on the hook on both sides, just as shown in the photo below.

20. Next, we pull the first loop of the rubber band through the second and tighten it, thus forming a knot and a loop, by which our finished Christmas wreath can be hung on a tree branch or in any other place.

Our wreath consists of 12 segments.

First we will make 12 blanks.

Choose colored elastic bands in bright colors. We have 4 colors with three rubber bands.

Wrap a bright elastic band around the hook in 4 layers.

Having slightly spread the winding, pull two green rubber bands through it.

Make 12 of these blanks.

Let's start weaving a wreath. Wrap one green rubber band in 3 layers on one of the protrusions of the spear.

Place the first blank on the spear and remove the green winding towards the center.

Place the second blank on the spear.

Remove two green rubber bands from one side of the spear.

Remove two green rubber bands from the second side of the spear to the center, transferring them through the colored winding.

Continue weaving the wreath, alternating the colors of the windings on the blanks and making sure that the colored winding always ends up on the same side of the fork.

The weave will round off on its own.

At the end of weaving, remove the elastic bands from the hook. Additionally, hook the beginning of the weave. And pull the extra green elastic through the cast-on loops on the hook.

From silicone multi-colored rubber bands you can create not only stylish and bright bracelets, but also original pendants. The technique of weaving such a pendant is practically no different from weaving a bracelet, so even a beginner can figure out the process. With the created craft you can decorate christmas tree, and for convenient attachment of the pendant we will create a large loop in the upper part of the wreath.

So, let’s prepare the following materials for weaving a wreath:

  • rubber bands in green shades for weaving the base;
  • multi-colored elastic bands for wreath decoration;
  • hook;
  • monster tail machine or slingshot.

Weaving stages

Step 1. We put a green elastic band folded in three on any peg of the machine. Next, add two more green rubber bands on top. Remove the three bottom loops to the center of the new elastic bands.

Step 2. Throw a pink elastic band onto the left working peg. Fold it in three.

Step 3. Place the tip of the plastic hook under the three pink turns, grab the lower green turns, bring them out and transfer them to the next peg.

Step 4. Now we reset the turns pink shade from the left column and add a couple more green rubber bands to the weave.

We remove four green turns from the right peg to the center of the new rubber bands.

The first element of the wreath is ready. Next, simple steps will be repeated. We wrap a colored rubber band around the left peg, place a hook under its loops, hook the green turns and transfer them to the right column.

Then we add a new pair of green elastic bands and remove the previous four turns from the right column.

Step 5. Soon the rope will reach the required length and the weaving will need to be completed.

To do this, we throw the first and last elastic bands of the tourniquet onto one of the posts of the machine. We lower the turns as low as possible in order to put one green elastic band higher. Then we remove all the turns from the post using a new elastic band.
