But don't think that I'm trying to justify my love for nail polishes. I'm just letting you know how serious this is...
In general, when I changed all my personal care products to natural ones and even started using oils instead of creams, the question arose very urgently of what to do with these same nail polishes. After all, they are the most toxic beauty products! And this smell, which many people like, can lead to serious disorders and illnesses. They are especially harmful to children and pregnant women. I remember with trembling how I painted my nails as a child with my mother’s polish, along with my fingers...
For this reason, I decided that I definitely needed to find a good, high-quality and safe nail polish!
The fact is that they contain substances that I just can’t understand how they could even end up in a product that will touch our skin and, accordingly, be absorbed through it into our blood. And let's not forget about the pungent chemical smell that we inhale every time we open a bottle and paint our nails.
Previously, my go-to nail polish brands were OPI, China Glaze, Orly. And here’s what regular nail polishes actually contain:
We paint our nails every couple of days, putting these toxins on our nails and getting into our skin. And as we already know, everything that is applied to the skin sooner or later ends up inside our body, entering the bloodstream and spreading throughout the body.
The same applies to nail polish remover. Acetone, for example, is toxic to the central nervous system and internal organs. But even if it doesn’t contain acetone, it still doesn’t smell natural.
It turns out there are nail polishes that do not contain toxins. They are very difficult to find in stores. I personally couldn't do it. But I found some decent options online.
These polishes are water based, do not contain hazardous substances. And what’s a big plus for me is that the polish can be removed with any alcohol! That is, you do not need to purchase a special non-toxic nail polish remover. In the photo for this post, my favorite shade from this company is Wildfire, a very beautiful rich red color that looks great on nails. I also have a pale pink polish from the same company, which looks very natural and is suitable for occasions when you want a soft polish.
It remains on the nails for a couple of days without changes. And I noticed this interesting feature- the shorter the nails, the longer it lasts.

I thought I had found one without glitter and ordered it, but when it arrived, it turned out that it was still shiny. So now I’m thinking about who to give it to, some little girl it will be perfect.
But what I liked about it was that it stayed on my nails in “good condition” for quite a long time. Only if only the shades were normal... So, if your daughters really want to paint their nails, these varnishes will be ideal for them with their color scheme.
Non-toxic nail polish. Nose big problem in my opinion, it almost instantly begins to lag behind the edge of the nail.
